How It Works

 
   

The active ingredient of the anti-microbial agent in FoodTouch™ is silver zeolite which is a carrier or delivery system that dispenses silver metal ions in a controlled release over time. The silver disrupts microbe growth by interrupting RNA (ribonucleic acid) replications that is needed for the organisms to reproduce. The silver zeolite component of FoodTouch™ manufactured by AglON™ is certified by NSF International and is approved by the FDA and USDA for use in food processing applications. It's inert, odorless, colorless and tasteless.
